Built by the first missionaries to New France, this Anglican church is known for its historical significance. This site bears witness to the arrival of the Récollets, one of New France’s founding religious congregations.

 

It also testifies to its having been used by the British for administrative purposes between 1776 and 1823, as well as having been occupied by the Anglican community since 1823.
